Happy Halloween!

Only 2 days late!  Woo Hoo!

So our our Halloween was definitely not as awesome as our normal Halloween fun in Westminster with our friends...but we had a good time!  The boys were so looking forward to Halloween and enjoyed all the preparations. We headed to the east side for pumpkin picking, painted costumes, made some delicious fall dishes, tons of fall and pumpkin crafts...  Friday before Halloween, Magnolia held Trick or Treating in the Village.  It was crazy busy, but tons of fun seeing some pretty awesome costumes.  Saturday we had Aunt Lori and Uncle Chris over for dinner and then went trick or treating on our block.  They are still dressing up in their costumes multiple times a day, so the fun continues!

Up Up and Away!

Brett surprised me with a hot air balloon ride for my birthday!  We took the actual trip this summer and it was wonderful!  We woke up early to do a sunrise launch.  It was a perfect morning outside: clear as can be and perfect temperature.  We had beautiful views of Mt. Rainier, the Cascades and Seattle.  And thank you, Lori and Chris, for watching the kids sooo early in the morning!

Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

Wow, Evan is 5 years old!!! Our munchkin is growing up!  Ev is so eager to learn and is constantly asking questions (it's a bit exhausting sometimes to be honest).  He loves going to preschool and does not understand why it doesn't continue through the summer months.  He has one more year of preschool this coming year before kindergarten.  Evan learned how to ride his 2 wheeler just a couple weeks ago.  He also made it to the top of a climbing tower at Ella Bailey Park this summer!  Take that 8-12 yr old recommended age sign!  He loves exploring and playing at parks and in the sandbox.  He loves his brothers and is even a good example to them most of the time :-)  

The boys get very excited for their birthdays and the cake to come!  Evan decide he wanted a Pirate Birthday... so a Pirate Party he got!
